Młody Duch Tańca to taneczny polsko-japoński, który swą prapremierę miał w 2017 roku i od tej pory wielokrotnie gościł na polskich oraz japońskich scenach wiodących teatrów muzycznych i operowych.
Pomysłodawcą i organizatorem widowiska jest Wiesław Dudek - wybitny polski tancerz, Fundator i Prezes Fundacji Duch Tańca Wiesława Dudka.
W tegorocznej edycji wydarzenia Młody Duch Tańca zaprezentowany zostanie spektakl COPERNIC 550 - stworzony specjalnie z okazji 550. rocznicy urodzin wybitnego polskiego astronoma. To widowisko interdyscyplinarne, łączące różnorodne style i techniki tańca współczesnego do muzyki wybitnych kompozytorów.
Do realizacji spektaklu zaproszono sześciu polskich choreografów - zarówno młodych, jak i mających na swoim koncie znaczące kreacje w kraju i zagranicą. Są to: Bartłomiej Malarz, Emilia Sambor, Katarzyna Kozielska, Aleksandra Dziurosz, Przemysław Grządziela, Małgorzata Borowiec. Wartość dodaną stanowią projekcje multimedialne Daniela Stryjeckiego - jednego z najlepszych reżyserów widowisk artystycznych, reżyseria świateł, dekoracje, nowatorskie kostiumy oraz głos narratora wprowadzający widza w nastrój podróży w kosmos.
W przygotowaniu projektu wezmą udział najzdolniejsi uczniowie ogólnokształcących szkół baletowych w Warszawie, Poznaniu i Bytomiu oraz ich rówieśnicy z szkół baletowych w Japonii.
