Jolanta Wagner

In 2007 she graduated with the highest grade from Faculty of Vocal and Acting at Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, in professor Katarzyna Rymarczyk’s class.

During her studies she participated in many master classes held by Ryszard Karczykowski, Teresa Żylis-Gara, Andrzej Mróz, Helena Łazarska and Barbara Kubiak.

Holder of Fondazione Romualdo Del Bianco scholarship in Florence.

She was invited by Krzysztof Penderecki European Centre for Music to participate in program “Meetings of the Master of XX century with Young Artists of XXI century”.

At Opera Nova’s stage she debuted as a soloist in the title role in “Halka”, during the inauguration of XX Bydgoszcz Opera Festival (2013). In the same year she was singing Santuzza in “Cavalleria Rusticana” by Mascagni (dir. A. Bubień). In season 2014/2015 she was singing Ulana in Paderewski’s “Manru”. In 2016 she performed as Elizabeth in Verdi's “Don Carlos” premiere at XXIII Bydgoszcz Opera Festival inauguration. She is also singing Witch in “Hansel & Gretel” by E. Humperdinck and Foreign Princess in “Rusalka” by A. Dvorak.

She was singing in concerts and spectacles led by great conductors (Marzena Diakun, Tadeusz Wojciechowski, Wojciech Rajski, Piotr Wajrak, Krzysztof Dziewięcki, Tadeusz Serafin, Bohdan Jarmołowicz, Maciej Figas, Andrzej Knap, Piotr Wujtewicz, Jakub Chrenowicz, Gabriel Chmura, Peter Guth).

She is collaborating with many opera theatres, where she is singing those parts: Castle Opera in Szczecin: Halka from Moniuszko’s opera, Beautiful Helen from Offenbach’s operetta; Silesian Opera in Bytom: Elizabeth from ”Tannhäuser” by R. Wagner, Halka from Moniuszko’s opera, Ulana from “Manru” by Paderewski; Grand Theatre in Poznan: Lady Macbeth from “Macbeth” by Verdi; Grand Theatre - National Opera in Warsaw: Jezabel from “Moby Dick” by Knapik.

She is performing in spectacle “Maria Callas. Master Class” with Krystyna Janda.
