A seductive story of desire, manipulation, and revenge — taken from the pages of the famous novel and its Oscar-winning film adaptation, and now brought to life on stage through the language of dance.
This ballet, choreographed by Krzysztof Pastor to the music of Arturs Maskats, captivates with its beauty of form, emotional depth, and sweeping choreography.

Inspired by the acclaimed novel by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos and Stephen Frears’ celebrated film starring Glenn Close and John Malkovich, the performance immerses the audience in a world where love becomes a weapon and trust — a trap.

Under the choreography of Krzysztof Pastor, Director of the Polish National Ballet and one of today’s most prominent ballet creators, unfolds a story of people who toy with emotions — until they themselves become victims of their own intrigues.

With Arturs Maskats’ sensual score, outstanding soloists and the brilliant Opera Nova Ballet, minimalist set design, and stylized costumes by Anna Kontek enriched with symbolic detail — complemented by expressive lighting and multimedia projections — this production forms a spectacle that, as critics wrote, “grips both the throat and the heart.”
